Nature Nerds Frolic at HOWL, Saturday, May 14, 10-2:00

Bring a brown-bag lunch and explore the meadows, woods, streams, and pond at HOWL with other nature enthusiasts.  Share your curiosity about spring wildflowers, birds, aquatic critters, woodland mysteries, and anything else we encounter. We’ll pool our collective knowledge to interpret what we’re seeing.  We’ll walk at naturalist pace (sprinting snails), and cover up to, oh, two miles.

Things to bring: waterproof boots (and dry socks & shoes to change back into), binoculars if you have them, any field guides you have, brown-bag lunch & water, and any advanced nature-nerd items like bird checklists (available at Huntington Audubon).

This frolic is free…though donations to HOWL are always very, very appreciated!  Overnight camping is always an option (a small donation is requested).
