HOWL had a productive and energizing “Cleanup Day” on May 17th thanks to a handful of generous-spirited women. We collected downed limbs and brush from winter storms and later on burned them. We got a funky lawn mower going somehow and had our first mow of the season. We had our compost pile checked out by an expert, turned over and readied for the next heap of scraps. Our outdoor shed was cleaned and organized and various cleaning projects in the house were tackled. Felt great to spiff up our HOWL nest and to meet some new women who were smitten with HOWL.
