Spring Equinox Celebration at HOWL
Friday, March 20
6:45 – 10:00 PM
Join us for a Spring Equinox celebration at HOWL!
Our themes are renewal, growth, cooperation, and playfulness. We will have a ceremony outside to honor the new season, then go inside to share a meal and do a creative project together as a group. The ceremony will be facilitated by priestess Yvonne Raphael.
Please arrive at 6:45 pm, as we will begin the ceremony at 7:00 sharp. We want to make the most of the remaining daylight.
What to wear for the ceremony: As we will be outside in the snow for the first 30 minutes, please dress for outdoors, but wear/bring what you need to sit on the floor for crafting for awhile afterward.
What to bring for the ceremony: A hardboiled egg or garden seeds to bless and a song to sing to waken the trees.
We will share a potluck meal at about 7:30. Please bring a dish to share. Please note that we will make egg salad to share after we bless them. You might bring a few slices of bread or some crackers for that.
There is some space available for those who want to sleep over. Please bring your own sleeping pad, sleeping bag and pillow and let us know in advance so we can make sure the space is prepared.
Donations to HOWL gratefully accepted.
